Raymond Wesley “Wes” Simmons passed away on April 7, 2025, just days before his 83rd birthday. Born on April 15, 1942, in Mesa, he spent most of his life in Miami after moving there at a young age.

Maria DeJesus Yanik, 91, of Top of the World, passed away on February 11, 2025. She was a beloved Wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Pamela Kay (Blattie) Yurkovich, the youngest child of Edward and Eleanor Blattie, (of Swiss and German descent), was born on May 21st1941, and passed away on February 24, 2025, in Globe, Arizona at the home of her daughter and son-in law.

Sharon Anderson Holley Crittenden, 81, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Globe, Arizona.

Joyce "Sissy" Janell Wheeler, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1946, in Globe, Arizona, to Cecil and Leona Wheeler.

Tillie (Falquez) Cooper passed away, April 3, 2025. She was 81 years old, just 3 weeks shy of her 82nd birthday. 

Corrine was born in Miami, Arizona, to Frank and Tillie Baroldy, where she grew up and spent most of her life.

Agnes Rios Paul, 87 of Central Heights, died Saturday, March 15 in Globe. Agnes was born in Mogollon, New Mexico September 30, 1937, to Joe and Ann Rios.

Trudy Sue (Phillips) Miller, GHS class of 1986, passed away on March 25, 2025 with many loved ones by her side.

Thomas Aguirre, a devoted educator, coach, and respected member of the Globe Community, passed away March 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on May 11, 1949, in Globe, Arizona. Tom’s journey in education spanned nearly four decades, leaving a lasting impression on the lives of thousands of students in the Globe and San Carlos Communities.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of former Globe/Miami resident Jesus (aka Jesse) Lopez who peacefully left us on March 23rd, 2025, at the age of 96.

Jay Randle Smitch, 85, of Globe, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in his home in Globe Arizona with his Wife of 66 years, Nancy (Smith) Smitch by his side. 

Frances Jane Bechtold passed away in Mesa, Arizona, on February 27, 2025. Jane, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Lubbock, Texas, on August 11, 1944, to Carl W. Bechtold and Virginia Lee Simmons Bechtold.

Lawrence Lopez Contreras “Lazo” was born to Juan Contreras and Emilia Lopez Contreras on August 18, 1937, in Globe Arizona. He came from a large family of 10 brothers and sisters. He passed away at his residence in Globe on February 13, 2025, he was 87 years old.

Dawn Elaine Every Copeland-Yates passed away at the age of 75 on March 15, 2025, surrounded by her family and so much love in Globe, Arizona. Dawn was born on August 24, 1949, in Preston, Minnesota to John Sr. and Vennetta (Sanford) Every.
