Larry LaVerne Copeland Jr. was born on June 27, 1971 in Winona, Minnesota to Dawn and Larry Copeland Sr. He passed away on May 25, 2024 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He graduated from Globe High School. He was a cowboy and a rancher.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Tessie; mother Dawn Copeland-Yates; children Kayla Valenzuela, Morgan Mejia (Matthew), Byron Haught (Rachel) and Rebecca; grandchildren Lukeas, Andrew, Mattie, Maverick, Asher, Hannah, Brooklynn, Aurora and Trayton; and siblings Michael Prigge (Leslie), Loren (Tracy), Michele Knowlton, David (Ellen), Danielle Uto (Chris) and Mandrielle Sschelble.
Celebrations of life were held Saturday, July 13 at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds in Cortez, Colorado, and on Saturday, July 20 in Payson, Arizona.
