Johnny P. Galaz, age 80, of Globe, Arizona, passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, in Globe.
He was born in Globe on Feb. 1, 1944, to Romelia (Leon) Peña.
Johnny worked in many places like the Elks Club, for Walker Funeral Home, at the Copper Rim School and Globe High School, also at High Desert School and Food Bank. He also liked to volunteer his time at Holy Angels Church and the Globe Senior Center.
He liked to collect aluminum cans, which he would resell, and enjoyed eating at all different restaurants in town and watching all sports on TV. Johnny rode his bike all around town, visiting his friends at the Senior Center. Johnny devoted his time daily in reading the Bible, often for hours.
