Louis Ballesteros

Posted

We are saddened and left with broken hearts to announce our beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle Louis Lopez Ballesteros has left this world, but not our hearts.

He was born in Miami, Arizona, to Angelita Lopez and Eligio Ballesteros. Our dad was the baby of 14 brothers and sisters. He served our country in the military. He loved to fish and camp for weeks at a time with his family and friends. He loved picnics, BBQs, baking from scratch and just sitting around with us all. We’ll forever cherish those times with you. With many tears we let you go; with loving memories we keep you close. 87 years with your family at your side.

No final resting place is needed, Dad; you’ll rest in our hearts forever.

He is loved and survived by his children with Mary Lou Ballesteros Vargas – only daughter Marietta Ballesteros Dozal, Louis L. Ballesteros Jr. and Gabriel Dino Ballesteros; his beloved brothers Lalo L. Ballesteros and Gilbert Ballesteros; grandkids Rebecca Perkins, Johnnie Tarango, Angelo Tarango, Jordan Castro, Rudi J. Dozal, Rudy J. Dozal III, Nicco Ballesteros, Candace Ballesteros, Victor Ballesteros, Marcelino Torres, Gabriel Ballesteros Jr., Xavier Ballesteros, Domonic Ballesteros and Kaden Gutierrez; and 19 great-grandkids and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held March 9 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, with rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow Mass.
