Thomas C. Hogan "Tommy"

Thomas C. Hogan “Tommy” was born Oct. 13, 1946 in Beech Creek, Ky. He died on June 18, 2017 in Phoenix, Ariz. Tommy proudly served his nation in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict and was a Bronze Star recipient. He worked in the mining industry. Tommy loved baseball and was a huge ASU fan. Animals were attracted to him and would follow him everywhere he went. He found peace spending time outdoors, fishing and shooting basketball. Tommy was very faithful to his close friends. He was proud of the GTO and a 1969 Ford Mustang. He also was a black belt in Karate.

Tommy was loved and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He is survived by his brothers, John (Sheri) Stapleton, Steve (Sharon) Stapleton, Joe (Yvonne) Stapleton, and David (Patty) Stapleton; his sisters, Janetta (Ryan) Woodall, Nancy Spellman, and Fran (David) Crossett and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hogan; his mother, Eva Stapleton; his step-mother, Lola Hogan; his step-father, Frank Stapleton; his brother, Ray (Scarlette) Hogan and his sister, Marilyn Bray.

Services were on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Bulman Miles Funeral Services, 237 S. Sutherland St. Globe, Arizona. Interment with military honors followed at the Globe City Cemetery in Globe, Ariz. and the reception was at the American Legion Hall in Globe.
