Let’s Talk Fishin Night Tournament

On Saturday, July 13, the heat was on! Starting at 6 p.m., the air temperature was 106 and the water temperature was 92.

The Globe team of Anthony Avalos & Jacob Reynoso topped the field with 15.03 lbs. for 3 fish with the tournament Big Fish of 6.39 lbs.

Second place went to the father/son team of Luke and Milo (12 years old) Weisser from Tonto Basin with a weight of 13.14 lbs. Their big fish was 4.83 lbs.

Third place went to the team of Keith Kennedy from Queen Creek and Dan Mullenaux from Mesa, who bagged 11.70 lbs. with a big fish of 5.62 lbs.

Third place big fish went to the father/son team of Jimmy and Trevor Johns of Tonto Basin, with a 5.61 lb. largemouth, only .01 away from 2nd place. They placed 9th.

Other Globe teams were:

Jhawn & Shawn Barrowdale in 5th place with 11 lbs., tied with Kenny Myers from Roosevelt and Freddy Valtierra from Globe. Their big fish was 4.32 lbs.

The father/son team of Norman Uptain Jr. & Sr. from Globe weighed a big fish of 5.30 lbs., taking 11th place. Gabe Valtierra and Jacob Valtierra, both from Globe, weighed in a big fish of 2.89 lbs. with a total of 9.17 lbs. for 3 fish.
