The Globe Tigers suffered a tough 26-1 loss to the Show Low Cougars at home last week.
“Today, there was no effort as you can plainly see,” said Globe head coach Wes Sukosky. “I’ve said that the intensity stays and disappears, but we will battle through it. This had been our worst game of the season and I hope not to have another one.”
The Tigers are still searching for their first win of the season. They hosted the Alchesay Falcons on Monday and traveled to Coolidge on Tuesday. This coming Friday they host the Florence Gophers starting at 4 p.m.
“We’ll stay competitive,” said Sukosky. “That’s all I expect from these kids; to stay competitive and have fun. If we can do that, we’ll be in good shape.”
