MIAMI - The Miami volleyball team opened the 2022 season with two home victories last week.
The Lady Vandals defeated NFL Yet 3-1 on Aug. 29 before sweeping ALA-Anthem South on Aug. 31.
Against NFL Yet, Brynn-Leigh Dickison had a team-high 19 kills, while Angelique Ontiveros registered 12 digs. Gabby Gonzales and Layla Thompson each recorded eight kills, and Demetria Dosela contributed six kills. Miami had 15 aces in the victory.
Miami continues its season on Friday at Globe. The Lady Vandals’ next home match is Monday against Arete Prep.
