Jason Sanchez Connect Day a great success

Posted

On August 2, the Homeless Coalition of Cobre Valley in collaboration with Gila County Public Health and Community Services held the Jason Sanchez Connect Day event.  There were many resources there to help people in all different situations from behavioral health, utility assistance, Medicare, and government phones to people getting showers and clothes.  It was not only a great opportunity for people to get connected, but also for the resources to network.  Building a better community takes teamwork.

We would like to thank Western Reprographics, 60 Motors, Life Prints Designs, Copper Mountain Transit, Ram Specialists and Pro Life Hot Dogs for their support.  We would like to thank Miami Area Unified School District #40 for the use of Lee Kornegay Intermediate School Gym, Andrew Brown, Lisa Shiefert, Abigail Fergason, William Salazar and all the CVIT students who volunteered.  We would especially like to thank Monica Magoon from the Sara K Foundation and Carlos Hunt.  If it were not for these two individuals, we could not have done it.  Thank You!!!

The Homeless Coalition of Cobre Valley is a 501(c)(3) organization.  If you would like to donate you can mail your donation to Homeless Coalition of Cobre Valley PO Box 1173 Claypool, Az.  85532 or send it through Zelle at hccv2024@gmail.com.
