Thirteen GHS swimmers took part in the “Saturday Night Fever” qualifying meet in Chandler on Sept. 30. Head coach Barry Schwenk reported that no one qualified for state but everyone recorded a personal best in every race, with sophomore Cassidy Swensen winning his heat of the 100-yard freestyle.
The team’s next meet will also be in Coolidge, on Thursday, Oct. 5.
