Van Lee “Pac-Man” Chatlin, age 39, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center in Peridot, Arizona.
He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on Jan. 9, 1982.
Van was the son of Knutson Chatlin and Ophelia (Mason) Chatlin.
He attended Rice Elementary, J.C. Jr. High and San Carlos High School and later worked for the San Carlos Tribe as a laborer.
Van helped out a lot with Sunrise Dances and funeral services. He loved fishing, being outdoors, playing basketball and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Van is preceded in death by his father Knutson Chatlin and is survived by his mother Ophelia Chatlin, brother Riley Chatlin of San Carlos and sisters Barletta Palmer, Anaya Chatlin and Neva Chatlin of San Carlos, Arizona.
Funeral services were held on June 12, 2021 at Ophelia Chatlin’s residence.
Interment will be at Holy Ground Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona.
