Noelia Ferreira is a Junior at San Carlos High School and is in her second year in Cheer. She likes Cheer because she gets to express her school spirit and to help with the student section at games. Her favorite subject is advanced Algebra II because her teacher makes it fun and teaches in a very proficient way. She likes San Carlos because it is not as overwhelming as a big city, and most of all because her family is here. After graduation, she hopes to attend the University of Hawaii to study veterinary medicine. She chose Hawaii because she is familiar with the island and has family there. She likes San Carlos High School because it has opened up opportunities to do things, and “the teachers are amazing. They really care about their jobs.”
