Kenya Star wrestles for San Carlos in the 220-pound weight class, (225 pounds in female tournaments such as the one in Window Rock in which she placed third.) she likes wrestling the best, and her favorite female wrestlers are Helen Morales and Jordan Bouroughs. Wrestling is an interesting sport for her because it is competitive and because her uncle was able to teach her a bit about it. In football, she was occasionally on the defensive line against teams such as Thatcher and San Manuel. In track, she made it to state in shot-put and discus although she also threw the javelin and helped where needed in the relays. Her favorite subject is English. After graduation she hopes to go to college for wrestling and track.
