Grace Normadene Deal, 90, or “Dene” as she was known to family and friends, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Haven Health in Globe, Arizona. Dene was born on April 26, 1927 in Denoya, Oklahoma, the daughter of David and Nellie Roberts. Dene enjoyed the countless years of teaching Sunday school at Roosevelt Baptist Church, baking for her family, and tending to her roses and honeysuckle.
Dene is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Deal; twin sister, Gene Jackson; and daughter, Kathleen Moreno. Dene is survived by her children, Gary (Darla) Deal, Carla (Mike) Smith, Pamela (David) Kukulski, and David (Lynna) Deal; siblings, Don Roberts, Joyce Foley, and Wayne Roberts; and numerous grandchildren. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. at Bulman Miles Funeral Services in Globe.
Interment is to follow at Mt. Breeze Cemetery.
