Globe loses to Ben Franklin 48-13

Posted

Globe — The Globe Tigers played their last game of the season with freshman Hansen in for quarterback.

Mikeworth was still out from the ankle injury he sustained last week.

The game was underclassmen heavy but Globe was still able to score with a pass to Maybury for the first touchdown in the first quarter.

However the Tigers just weren’t a match for the Chargers, a few onside kicks and plays to the outside gave them the upper hand on the scoreboard. The Tigers finished their season with a 2-8 record.

Coach Morales commented that the record doesn’t show how far the young men have came throughout the season for sure, as a whole  they are winning in other places.

Mostly in the classroom community and of course in life. The Motto “Be a champion” is something that Morales has no doubt the seniors from this year will be, champions.

He is looking forward to  the freshmen and sophomore students retuning, getting into the weight room for next few years and taking that next step towards commitment.

All the good things that have been set by the upperclassmen, such as trash being picked up, painting the “G”, and any other community service will help continue to build the program.

Morales wishes the seniors all the best in the upcoming sports and hopes they are successful.
