Frank “Pancho” Lavin passed away peacefully at home in Wheatfields, Ariz. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 83.

Pancho was born on Oct. 4, 1935 to Susie and Victoriano Lavin in Globe, Ariz. He was married to Rose (Ortega) Lavin for 60 years.

Pancho was a veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a cowboy on many local ranches. He worked in the mining industry for many years and retired from BHP. Pancho always had a story or joke to tell. He was known to give nicknames to people he knew (if you liked it or not) as he was terrible with names.

Pancho is survived by his wife Rose (Ortega) Lavin; sons Mike Lavin (Peggy), Fred Lavin (Debbie; grandchildren, Samantha (Dane) Thomas, Freddie Lavin, Erica (Michael) Greer, Kevin (Jenika) Horta, Kendall Horta, Kelsey Horta, and many great-grandkids; brothers Paul Lavin, Johnny (Barbara) Lavin, Joe (Christie) Lavin, and sister Margaret Sanford.

He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Susie (Lavin) Anaya, Ramon Anaya; sisters Rosie Lavin and Lita (Lavin) Jones.

No funeral service per his request.
