Elisa Garcia Guerrero Bracamonte passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 96. She was born in Globe and lived her entire life here.

She graduated from Globe High School. She was awarded a nursing scholarship to the University of Arizona, but chose instead to attend a business school in Tucson. After graduating she returned to Globe and worked at Carmeds until she married Jim (Santiago) Bracamonte. They were married for 50 years. She spent her entire life making a home for her husband and children and grandchildren, helping them with anything she could. No matter what happened, she loved them with all her heart.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Enriqueta Orozco, her father Ventura Guerrero, her husband Jim, and her brothers Henry, Edward, Benny, and Charles Guerrero.

She is survived by her brothers, Alfredo Guerrero, Bobby Orozco, and Richard Carrizoza. Her children, Lillian (Steven) Needham, Robert (Margo) Bracamonte, Anita Bracamonte, Joe Bracamonte, and Carmen Kiss. She had 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Her message in life was to love, respect and do good unto others. She was so loved by her family and the absence of her on this earth will be painful for a long time, but we know she is at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Her service will be held at Lamont Mortuary on Friday, December 22, 2017.

The viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception at the American Legion.
