Barbara Ann (Fuller) Brown passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Tempe, Az.

She was born to Reuel Burden Fuller and Ethel Pearl (Heineck) Fuller in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Oct. 10, 1927.

Barbara was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado after having lived in Mondovi, Wisconsin and Weston, West Virginia. In 1945 Barbara joined the United States Cadet Nurse Corps. She trained at the Kahler Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, graduating in 1948.

Barbara married Lyle Erstad in 1949 and they moved to Yuma, Az. Barbara and Lyle had two children, John and Carol, while living in Yuma. In 1960 they moved to Globe, Az. where Barbara worked as the school nurse at Globe Schools until the late 1980s. Lyle died in 1969. In 1978 Barbara married Gordon Crawford and after retirement in 1986 they moved to Sun City West. They lived there until Gordon’s death in 1990.

In 1993 Barbara married Charles Brown. They divided their time between Spencer, Iowa and Sun City West, Az. Barbara learned to play golf and greatly enjoyed her new hobby. Charles died in 2005, and shortly after Barbara moved to Friendship Village in Tempe, Az.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Naomi Alldredge (Donald) and Elizabeth Sherman (Robert), husbands Lyle Erstad, Gordon Crawford and Charles Brown, and daughter Carol Duber (Bob). She is survived by her son John Erstad (Shirley), son-in-law Bob Duber, grandsons John Duber (Anastacia), David Erstad (Mel) and Mike Erstad, and granddaughters Susan Shunk (Ben) and Lindsay Bromund Massie (Jason) along with seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Alexis, Colin, Patrick and Elena, and step-grandchildren Jace and Andrew. Barbara also has eight nieces and nephews.
