Alberta Stokes passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born in Westover, West Virginia the daughter of Grace Chesney Henry and James Henry on May 4, 1927.
Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Lew Stokes, her daughter Debbie and her son Steve.
She is survived by her daughter Patti (Jerry) Garlinghouse, her granddaughter Abby Garlinghouse, her grandsons; Jerry (Renee) Garlinghouse, Steve Stokes Jr., Michael Stokes and five great granddaughters. Alberta was the eldest of 13 children of which four are still living.
A celebration of life will be held on July 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 922 W. Live Oak, Miami, Ariz.
