Nearly 360 fourth graders participated in the event hosted by Arizona Project WET. Globe, Miami and San Carlos school districts were represented along with Destiny School. Students were assessed both before and after the festival to gauge the effectiveness of the teaching curriculum and learning gains, according to the Arizona Project WET.
