$1,000.00 Scholarship to Mr. Derek Pacheco of Kearny, Arizona. Derek, a native of Kearny and graduate of Ray High School is a Junior at Northern Arizona University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. As a resident of the Copper Corridor majoring in a discipline related to the mining industry and carrying an impressive Grade Point Average, he was eminently eligible for this award.
