Volunteers are needed for an upcoming four-hour work day at the Old Dominion Mine Park, from 8 a.m.-Noon, Saturday, Nov. 3.
Thea Wilshire says that volunteers are not required to work all four hours, and can be there as long as they wish.
Work that needs to be done includes putting up sign posts for already-framed signs as well as clearing the trails after recent rains, she said.
Volunteers are asked to bring lopers, weedwhackers and rakes, Wilshire said.
Those who volunteer will be given an Old Dominion T-shirt, she said.
