Our athletes love to win, but are good sports when they don't get first place. We all came back from our Area meet at Desert Ridge High School on April 8 with an assortment of medals and ribbons. Pictured left to right: Head of Delegation/Coach Josephine Stewart, David Nally, Desi Mata, Jessie Valdez, Jhessi Anderson, Bertina Pratt, Thomas Chambers, Andrew Johnson, Joey Stewart, Kenton Crick and Jared Johnson. Not pictured is Coach Mason Cassens.
We will be attending the State meet in a couple of weeks and it is only possible because of many supporters of Special Olympics. The Law Enforcement Torch Run will be coming through Globe on May 3 and a few of our athletes will join them through Globe.
