Due to various reasons the Globe-Miami Gun Club will not be holding their annual charity shoots to benefit the local Food Bank and the Christmas Angel Program. In place of the shoots, the club is holding a raffle to benefit the two charities. All proceeds will be split between the two charities.
There are 100 tickets available at $20 each, and five prizes to be won.
First prize is a hard to find Smith & Wesson Shield M&P 9mm EZ with a thumb safety. Second prize is 100 rounds of 9mm Luger ammo. Third prize is a BSA Sweet 22 target/hunting rifle scope for .22 rim fire rifles. Fourth prize is a Kershaw Tactical Pack, which includes a flashlight, folding knife and tactical pen. Fifth prize is a Weaver no-gunsmithing scope mount, which fits Remington 870, 1100 and 11-87 shotguns.
Tickets can be purchased at the range office at 2675 Bixby Rd. in Globe. Cash donations will also be accepted. The drawing will be held Dec. 13; all BATF regulations apply and you need not be present to win. For more info on the raffle please call the range office at 520-284-0193.
