The Globe Library will host its summer reading program with a 2018 Summer Reading Concert Kick-Off at Harbison Football Field on Saturday, June 9. Gates open at 5 p.m.
The theme of the free, family event is “Libraries Rock,” and there will be music from the 1980s performed by Scottsdale’s Urban Fiction.
Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a night of big-haired entertainment.
The event is sponsored by the Globe-Miami Community Concert Association; City of Globe; Friends of the Globe Public Library; Globe Unified School District; Globe Public Library and the United Fund of Globe-Miami.
