After eight years, Globe’s first and only vineyard and winery is now open to the public. On Jan. 2 the mascot, Sancho, along with owners Timothy Trent and Daisy Flores welcomed the public to the ribbon cutting.
The Winery is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or you can schedule your own private event or wine tasting.
The Winery offers a selection of seven wines that capture the best flavors of the high desert hills of Globe. The patio offers a beautiful view of the terraced hills of grapes while you enjoy your wine.
Waggin’ is centrally located on U.S. 60 at 1540 E. South Street, Globe directly across from Best Western Copper Hills Inn and Denny’s.
Come by for a wine tasting and join Sancho, Tim and Daisy for the official Grand Opening on Jan. 11 at 11 a.m.
Check out the website at www.wagginvineyard.com and follow Waggin’ Vineyard on Facebook or Instagram. Or as Sancho likes to say drop us a bone at wagginvineyard@gmail.com or 928-961-6250.
