The Globe Fire Department would like to make the public aware of a traffic signal change on West Ash (Highway 60) in the area of Cedar Street.
Two traffic signals were recently installed for both eastbound and westbound traffic approaching this area.
These caution signals activate when an emergency vehicle is approaching Highway 60 on Cedar Street.
Drivers approaching this intersection when the lights are activated should use extreme caution in anticipation of emergency vehicles entering the highway, as well as other drivers slowing or stopping to yield the right-of-way.
The City of Globe would like to thank ADOT and the State Transportation Board for their partnership, expedited engineering/approval process, and significant financial contribution to this project.
