The Scrubs Camp was held June 5, 6, and 7 at Gila Community College’s Gila Pueblo Campus. Attending the camp were 24 active learners and three high school student volunteers who engaged in a wide range of activities. Activities included Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), giving injections, shots, and drawing blood. Tri-City Fire District and Native Air provided an ambulance and helicopter for them to explore. Learners spent two days on GCC’s Gila Pueblo campus and one day touring Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.
