Miami Unified School District Spelling Bee winners Josephine Klindt 8th grade, Jaryd Torres 6th grade, Nevaeh Guerrero 5th grade, Angelica Castillo 6th grade and Dennis Davis 7th grade will advance onto the next round.

MIAMI — The Miami Unified School District Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, Jan. 18 in which 22 students participated.
The Bee lasted eight rounds and the winner was 7th grader Dennis Davis.
Four students plus one alternative will advance to the Gila County Spelling Bee set to take place on February 22.
