Globe — The students and families of the School House Cooperative got together on Saturday, March 25 to refresh the planters on Broad Street in downtown Globe. The group did the same thing three years ago in anticipation of the city’s spring events, and the planters were in need again.
Many thanks to those who offered help, donated flowers or agreed to water the plants: Hollis Cinemas, Carroll Trading Co., Old Dominion Cutting Company, Western Reprographics, Noel’s Sweets, Golden Hills Nursery, Copper Hen, City of Globe Code Enforcement Officer Michelle Yerkovich, Holly Rooney and the girls, David Moss, Lynette Dyas, Dottie Durham, Kino Floors, Tanner and Sadie, Rainbow Flowers, and the High Desert Humane Society.
It was a great opportunity for preschoolers through second graders to be involved in their community.
