Arizona Department of Health Services reported last week that the number of people statewide getting tested each day for Covid-19 has dropped by half since January - a concern to public health leaders who say widespread testing remains essential so they can track the status of the virus in the community, and effectively mitigate the spread. Locally, here’s a reminder that while the site has moved, free drive-up Covid-19 tests are still offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the new Embry Health Test Now location, 5994 Electric Drive (across from Cobre Valley Golf Course).
