Today, the San Carlos Apache Tribe, the City of Globe, the San Carlos Apache Police Department (“SCAPD”) and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office jointly announced the arrest of Audrianni Ramos, Holly Delma and Donalyn Case, enrolled members of the Tribe, for possession of methamphetamines with a street value of $23,400.

Terry Rambler, Chairman of the Tribe, said, “Thanks to federal law enforcement, SCAPD, DPS and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office three meth dealers are now off our streets. Our communities are safer. Meth has been crippling and killing our members for too long. It is ironic that members of our own Tribe are part of the problem of addiction. Bootleggers and drug pushers prevent Apaches from realizing the greater power of our language, our culture and traditions. As a people, we need to band together and shed the shackles of addiction. Thanks to our partnership, three more meth dealers have gone to jail; three more links in the chain of addiction have been broken.”

SCAPD Chief, Alejandro Benally Sr., said, “These three arrests were the result of an SCAPD investigation. We partnered with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office. With our partners, we are cleaning up our Reservation. Be warned – if you do the crime, we will find you, and you will do the time.”

Adam Shepherd, Gila County Sheriff, said, “The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to aggressively combatting drug dealers in our communities. Through our strong partnership with SCAPD and federal law enforcement we have won another strategic victory.”

Al Gameros, Mayor of the City of Globe, said, “Through this arrest and our partnership with the Tribe, we have taken another positive step toward freeing our City and the Region of the scourge of meth and other drugs.”

On June 5, 2020, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office (“GCSO”) Drug, Gang, and Violent Crimes Task Force conducted a drug investigation in collaboration with the San Carlos Apache Police Department and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Task Force conducted a stop on Highway 60 and the Wal-Mart parking lot in Claypool, Arizona. SCAPD, GCSO and AZ DPS responded for assistance. A Task Force K-9 officer was deployed and alerted to the presence of a drug odor emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 234 grams of methamphetamine, along with $2,602 in cash, which were seized.

Audrianni Ramos. 31 of San Carlos, AZ was arrested for Transportation of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Money Laundering.

Donalyn Case Lechuga, 36 of San Carlos, AZ was arrested for Transportation of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a Failure to Appear warrant out of the Gila County Sheriff’s Office.

Holly Delma, 30 of San Carlos, AZ was arrested for Transportation of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
