GLOBE – Both Haven of Globe and Heritage Healthcare Center are taking extra precautions amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Both centers have revised their temporary restrictions on visitors after additional guidance was provided from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. CMS has directed all skilled nursing facilities to immediately limit all visitors to nursing homes with the exception of essential healthcare personnel and to arrange for authorized visitors of residents whose health condition has declined to end of life status.
As a result of this both Haven and Heritage have restricted all visitations to their centers to continue to prevent any potential infection and spreading of the coronavirus. According to a statement from Haven, they will continue to provide and arrange communication with residents through video and phone conferencing. “We are extremely appreciative of the understanding and support of family members, community members and especially our dedicated Caring Professionals who continue to make the provision of healthcare possible. If you happen to know a healthcare provider or anyone who works in healthcare at this time, please join with us in thanking them for their service.”–– Haven Health Group.
