Nathan O’Neal a 2008 graduate of Globe High is the recipient of an Emmy award and the “Edward R. Murrow Award” for Breaking News – Large Market. Nathan won these awards for his live coverage of the “One October Mass Shooting.” Nathan O’Neal started his love for journalism at Globe High School as the Editor-in-Chief of the Papoose newspaper. Then he pursued his career aspirations by earning a bachelors and master’s degree at ASU’s – Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. Nathan is currently a TV journalist reporter for News3 KSNV in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the son of Mike and Dee O’Neal of Globe.
