The Graham County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the body of a teenage girl found south of Safford, Arizona last fall.
According to a March 4 news release, a female body was found in the Artesia area, approximately 10 miles south of Safford, on Oct. 26, 2020. Since then the Graham County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by other agencies, has been attempting to identify her. Based on an autopsy, the victim is believed to be between 13-15 years old.
The Sheriff’s Office has released photos of clothing found on and with the body in hopes it will help in her identification. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has also posted this information on their site.
