On Dec. 1, families can explore Globe’s Old Dominion Park on a Saturday after lunch walk with ‘Fit Santa’ from 12-2 p.m.
Hosted by the Pinal Creek Trail Committee, the all-ages event is free for families and kids of all ages to walk the Globe Ledge Trail and participate with giveaways and games and pose for photos with a Fit Santa.
The Pinal Creek Trail Committee is a partnership of the Gila County Department of Public Health, Arizona Health Zone, Pinnacle Prevention, University of Arizona Watershed Program, and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).
Old Dominion Mine Park is above Highway 60 and overlooks the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce; find the main entrance at 163 Murphy St. (turn at DeMarco’s Restaurant); or take back roads downhill leading west from Noftsger Hill
