On Wednesday, May 16, Tri City Fire District and the Globe Fire Department teamed together to create an amazing live burn experience for Gila Community College’s Fire Science Students. Students learned to work as a team as they participated in three uniquely different fire situations. For the first activity, students were enclosed in a burning structure to help them identify burn patterns. During the second activity, students responded to a burning trailer. Finally, students extinguished a burning propane tree. Photo provided.
