Northern Arizona University conducting a study in Gila county about unpaid caregivers to loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia. This research will identify the resources and lack thereof available to caregivers in our area, and how their health and caregiving experience can be improved with future programs.

Anyone 18 years or older who can speak English or Spanish and also been a caregiver of a person with Alzheimer’s or dementia can participate in a 90-120-minute focus group. Wednesday, Jan 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cobre Valley Medical Center Copper Room, 5880 S. hospital Drive, Globe. You can receive a $25 gift card per activity in recognition or your time.
