Piranhas take out Sharks in Miami

Posted

The CCYS Globe-Miami Piranhas swim team scored a decisive win over Florence at the newly renovated Miami Hostetler pool on Saturday. The score was 679 points to the Florence Sharks 126. According to coach Barry Schwenck, the work done in previous weeks has really paid off for the CCYS team who ranged from six year olds to teenagers. Before the present win, they had one win and one loss. The Piranhas are looking forward to the championships on July 14 in Florence. Parents applauded the kids who just managed to finish as well as those who placed. Pictured, top: The girls’ teams brought their best to the starting gate at last Saturday’s meet.
