The Habanero Fire, which originated on Oct. 21, did receive some precipitation recently, but not enough to help with full suppression efforts. There is still some interior smoke and hotspots within the fire's perimeter. Crews will continue securing up containment lines and monitoring existing lines to ensure they are holding. The fire is at 70 percent containment, approximately 40 personnel and at 3,247 acres. There’s no evacuations or closures within the area.
Residents should be familiar with the Ready, Set, Go Program - https://ein.az.gov/ready-set-go and sign up for emergency alerts through their County's emergency management office.
