Globe Cemetery Tour revives history

Posted

On the moonlit evening of September 10, from 6-10 p.m., the Globe Downtown Association is bringing you the 2022 Globe Cemetery Tour.

The 2022 tour will feature some familiar family names – Rabogliatti, Tewksbury, Hammond and Blessent; Griffin, Bernstein, Heron and Curnow; Rowland, Moreno, Daich, Spence and more. There will be a bonus guide on the shuttles to point out some of the places along the way to the cemetery where our tour highlights once lived or met their untimely demise.

Tours start at the 1916 Train Depot, 230 S. Broad St. in Globe’s Historic Downtown, with groups departing consistently from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets for this approximately two-hour experience are only $20 per person and available either at the event ticket booth or by pre-purchase via Eventbrite.com.

Many thank yous in advance to our event production partners; Cobre Valley Center for the Arts, Copper Cities Players, Bullion Plaza Museum, Gila County Museum, Copper Mountain Transit, the City of Globe, the Town of Miami and more.
