A deceased man was found in the desert behind Wal-Mart, in Claypool, at 12:06 p.m. Saturday, June 1 by a Globe Police sergeant patrolling the area.
Based on evidence found at the scene, it is believed that the man died of suicide, according to a June 2 press release issued by the Globe Police Department.
It also appears that the man had been camping in the area.
The deceased man’s name is being withheld at this time, pending notification of his next of kin.
