Friday night at Miami Jr./Sr. High School’s Ragus Stadium, Miami Vandal Football presented “Meet the Vandals Night,” inviting the community to watch the varsity players get ready for their first scrimmage August 16. Billed as “A Football Experience,” it was a chance to see the Vandals’ first team practice of the season while enjoying food and drinks from local vendors, as well as to buy T-shirts in honor of the late Coach Ken Vargas and stop by a bake sale benefiting the Miami High Cheer program.

The Vandals will start their season at home Friday, Aug. 23 against the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans.
