Peridot woman sentenced to 15 years for killing husband

PHOENIX – In a September 13 press release, the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Arizona announced that a Peridot woman had been sentenced to 15 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter, followed by three years of supervised release.

Terri Lynn Victor, 43, of Peridot, was sentenced August 26 by U.S. District Judge Diane J. Humetewa. Victor is a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.

The press release stated that Victor stabbed her husband in the chest in the late-night hours of July 6, 2022, and into the early morning hours of July 7, 2022, ultimately killing him. She pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Feb. 14, 2024.

The San Carlos Apache Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation.
