Patrick Wayne Fernandez (Pineapple), age 77, of Globe, Arizona passed away Nov. 23, 2024, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Patrick was born Sept. 18,1947 to Manuel and Evelyn Fernandez, in Wailuka, Maui. Patrick was preceded in death by his wife Sally Anne Fernandez, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage; both parents, 2 great-great grandsons Mathew and Easton; and 3 siblings, Boizing, Dennis and Theresa. He is remembered by his 6 children, Buddy Montgomery, Gynna Rayburn (Loyd), Lloyd Keller (Samantha), Kelley Powell (Brian), Lisa Melser (Glen), Patty Ortega (Joe), 23 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Patrick is also survived by his brothers Ricky Fernandez (Marilyn), Jerry Fernandez (Rosemary) and Allen Fernandez (Mary Anne); his sister Laurie Yamamoto (Frank); sister-in-law Linda Ewing (George); sisters-in-law Rosemarie, Peggy and Dottie Murphy; and many nieces and nephews who were like his own. After high school Patrick Joined the United States Navy and met the love of his life Sally Anne Murphy in San Diego, California. The family moved to Globe, Arizona in 1970 where the twins were born. Patrick was a superintendent for many industrial contractors, the most recent being SAS, Bowen and TBC. Patrick enjoyed his children and grandbabies, and he loved them unconditionally. Patrick enjoyed traveling to Maui to see his family, and also enjoyed going to the casino and scratcher tickets. Celebration of life on Jan. 25, 2025, at the Gila County Fairgrounds at 11:00.
