Miami hosts inaugural Olde Towne Faire
Members of the 3rd U.S. Battery prepare to fire a 12-lb. mountain howitzer in honor of the late Tom Foster, former executive director of Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum, in one of their demonstrations of historical artillery during the July 6 Olde Towne Faire event outside the Miami museum. Saturday’s event, Globe-Miami’s first, also featured a zipline, a rock-climbing wall and an array of local artisans.
