With a 3-1 home victory over the San Carlos Lady Braves Thursday night, the Globe Lady Tigers volleyball team evened their record at 4-4 as of press time (Globe hosted the Pima Lady Roughriders Friday night, and the results of that match were unavailable). The win over San Carlos was Globe's second straight. No match statistics were available at press time.
Next for the Lady Tigers is a Tuesday, Sept. 17 visit to Miami and the 0-7 Lady Vandals, who lost 3-0 to the Benson Lady Bobcats on the road Thursday. Globe's opening section match will come on the road, versus the Valley Christian Lady Trojans Sept. 24.
The Lady Vandals will follow up their match against Globe with an away game with the 5-1 Gilbert Classical Academy Lady Spartans Sept. 19.
