Phoenix-based Freeport-McMoRan, Inc. has announced it will be releasing its third-quarter financial and operating results on Thursday, Oct. 19, before the stock market opens.
On July 20 of this year, Freeport announced its second-quarter results with a profit of $343 million, consolidated sales of 1 billion pounds of copper, 495,000 ounces of gold and 21 million pounds of molybdenum. The average price the company received for each pound of copper sold was $3.85.
On April 21 of this year, Freeport released its first-quarter results with a profit of $663 million, total copper production at 832 million pounds, gold production at 500 million ounces and 20 million pounds of molybdenum. The average price of the company received for each pound of copper sold was $4.11.
