Tri-City Fire District responded to a structure fire in Miami Friday around noon, at an abandoned house in the 300 block of Davis Canyon Loop. According to Miami Town Manager Alexis Rivera, the fire was controlled after about an hour. Rivera said no one was in the house, which is located on Freeport McMoRan property, at the time. The fire’s cause is under investigation.
