Last Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 1, the Globe Fire Department and Tri-City Fire District responded to Alhambra Drive in Globe, where a pickup truck had caught fire as it turned into the street from an adjacent off-roading trail. No one in the vehicle was injured, and the fire was contained quickly without spreading to the brush or other structures. The cause was under investigation.
